In order to optimize the result we recommend a little preparation before use:

Make sure that your hair is clean and dry, without oil, cream or other care products, and that your hair is smooth and free of knots by brushing or straightening it if your hair is curly or frizzy.

The battery of the fork cutter is located in the handle which is removable.you will need to assemble the two parts in order to turn it on.

Step 1: Take the fork cutter and the handle out of the kit.

Step 2: Look for the arrows at the ends of the two parts.

Step 3: Push the handle into the fork cutter using the arrows. With the arrow on the handle facing the arrow on the fork cutter.

Step 4: Rotate the handle so that the arrow on the handle faces the lock symbol on the fork cutter.

Two shims are included, one of which is already fitted to the fork cutter.

One is already fitted to the fork cutter.

Simply pull the shim out and insert the other if you wish to change the cut size.

Step 1: Assemble the handle to the fork cutter.

Step 2: Make sure the clear plastic hair reservoir is properly assembled on the fork trimmer.

Step 3: Find the two arrow buttons on the fork trimmer. When using the fork trimmer, the arrow on the button you choose should always correspond to the direction of movement you are making.The motor can turn in both directions to suit any situation.The arrows on the two buttons correspond to the direction of operation of the motor.

Step 4: Press one of the two arrow buttons to turn on your fork trimmer. (Always the one facing the ground). To turn it off, simply press the button again.

Step 1: Divide your hair into sections of thin strands.

Step 2: Select the first section of hair.

Step 3: Place the strand between the two parts of the fork cutter jaw.

Step 4: Pinch the strand of hair in the fork cutter jaw and slide it with a movement from the scalp to the end of the strand of hair. (This is the same movement as when you use a regular brush.)

Step 5: Do the same with the following strands. Feel free to go over each strand at least three times for best results.

We recommend using it at intervals of two to three months to allow the hair to breathe.
